#Superlega: Summary of Round 23

Modena survive in Siena, Trentino with a straight set win against Ravenna. Victory in straight sets also for Verona against Vibo Valentia, while Monza beat Castellana in four sets. Great battle between Sora and Latina: the guests win at tie break!

So, Modena have barely managed to outplay Siena away. Ivan Zaytsev had a great performance in this match, scoring 30 points followed by Tine Urnaut with 12. Fernando Hernandez scored 22 points on the other side, while Yuki Ishikawa and Yuriy Gladyr had 16 points each.
This victory has secured the fourth place for Modena before the start of the playoffs.
Trento are still battling for top position and after the victory against Ravenna they are staying in the race for it and back to the second place.
Uros Kovacevic led his team to the 3-0 win with 16 points, while the U.S. outside hitter Russel added 13 points. On the other side, Kamil Rychlicki ended the match with 15 points.
Victory in straight sets also for Verona, after the last two defeats. Match without story against Vibo Valentia. Boyer, deservedly MVP of the match, was the top scorer with 19 points, while Al Hachdadi had 16 on the other side.
With 3-1 victory over Castellana, Monza secured its spot in playoffs. Donovan Dzavoronok was the top scorer of the match with 28 points, while Buchegger added 20.
Close the picture Latina‘s victory at tie break in Sora‘s court in a very balanced match. Petkovic was (once again!) top scorer of the match with 31 points, while De Barros Ferreira added 20. However, there were not enough.
