The advance of the Round 12 of the second-leg of SuperLega Credem Banca is won by the Vero Volley Monza, to the delight of its fans who enjoyed the last home game of the regular season. They beat a very generous Emma Villas Siena 3-1 in comeback: today they were forced to win to get salvation, but how many errors!
After losing the first set, thanks to a determined comeback of the guests in the final, Monza wins the next 3, attacking well and with a really good Yosifov at block.
The libero Rizzo is the MVP of the match, but also Ghafour had a good performance from the second set onwards, both in attack and in service. With these three points Monza confirms the seventh place in the standings, and certainly keeps the morale high in view of the first-leg of the Challenge Cup final scheduled for Wednesday against Belgorod.
