#Superlega: Perugia joins Lube to finals!

Injury of Bednorz destroy Modena’s dream and Perugia go to its 3rd playoff finals in 4 seasons!
Boosted by the huge support of the crowd at a Palabarton totally sold out, the reigning Italian champions and also the top seed Sir Safety Conad Perugia bluffs Azimut Leo Shoes Modena, fourth in the standongs, in five intense sets in Game 5 to reach the 2018/19 SuperLega Credem Banca playoff finals.
Perugia remained without the usual contribution of Wilfredo León for nearly three whole sets, being down 0-1 and 1-2, and even 17:23 in the second set. However, Bartosz Bednorz suffered a right ankle injury in the second set, that disturbed the performance of Modena a lot.
León finished the top scorer for Perugia with 22 points (3 aces), while Ivan Zaytsev scored 21, including 3 a aces, on the other side.
The series of the playoff finals between Perugia and Civitanova (which defeated Trento in game 4) starts on May 1.
