The Polish Volleyball Championship runners-up ONICO Warszawa engaged Belgium national team duo.
Bram van den Dries (photo below) will replace Bartosz Kurek in the 2019/20 season. The 29-year-old Belgium national team opposite come from the French side Rennes, and before joining ONICO, he applied for the tryout in the Korean V League. He achieved the greatest success with Belgian national team, winning the gold medal in the 2013 CEV European League and being chosen MVP of the tournament.
The other Belgian in ONICO is Igor Grobelny. The 26-year-old outside hitter of Polish origin spent the last season playing in Cuprum Lubin, always Plus Liga. He is the son of Dariusz Grobelny, a former Poland national team member, and brother of Kaja Grobelna who, just like him, wears Belgium national team jersey.
