The 2018/19 Russian Volleyball Championship playoff quarterfinalists Dinamo Moscow hired the United States national team member Taylor Sander and the Canadian outside hitter Stephen Maar.
Sander is a one-time FIVB World League and FIVB World Cup gold medalist as well as the 2016 Rio Olympics bronze medalist. The 27-year-old outside hitter came from the Brazilian league runners-up Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei.
Dinamo Moscow made several more signings in view of 2019/20 season in Russian Superliga: in addition to Taylor Sander from Sada Cruzeiro and Stephen Maar from Revivre Axopower Milano, Italy, there are also middle blocker Maksim Belogortsev from Yaroslavich Yaroslavl and setters Cheslavsk Sventitskis from Nova Novokuybyshevsk and Pavel Pankov from Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Dinamo Moscow parted ways with outside hitters Dick Kooy, Stanislav Eremin and Aleksandr Markin, setters Grzegorz Pająk and Valentin Bezrukov, middle blocker Dmitriy Shcherbinin, and opposite Pavel Kruglov.
