The last placed team in the 2018/19 Polish Volleyball Championship MKS Będzin signs with the outside hitter of Iran national team Pourya Fayazi. Knowing the animosity that exists between Polish and Iranian national team and clubs for several years now, this transfer can be classified as a hit.
The new acquisition of the Plus Liga side is currently engaged in the FIVB Nations League. The 25-year-old player came to Będzin from the Iranian and Asian titleholders Shahrdari Varamin. He claimed each of the two titles once more before: Iranian with Sarmayeh Bank (2015/16) and Asian with Shahrdari Urmia (2013/14).
Earlier this month, Będzin hired middle blocker Dawid Gunia from Jastrzębski Węgiel and extended with its captain Artur Ratajczak.
