Slovenian Alen Šket from Halkbank to Czarni Radom

Slovenia national team player Alen Šket will play in Cerrad Czarni Radom in the 2019/20 season. The 31-year-old outside hitter came to the Polish team after playing the last 3 seasons in the Turkish championship, in Fenerbahçe and Halkbank.
Šket won 5 Slovenian Championship titles and Cups, all with ACH Volley Ljubljana. Moreover, he won the Turkish Cup once with Fenerbahçe and Super Cup twice, with Fenerbahçe and Halkbank. He is currently preparing with Slovenia for the Qualifying tournament for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, in Gdańsk (August 9-11).

Prior to Šket, Czarni Radom engaged middle blockers Bartłomiej Grzechnik from MKS Będzin and Damian Boruch from Cuprum Lubin, the greek outside hitter Athanasis Protopsaltis from VfB Friedrichshafen and Bartosz Firszt from BBTS Bielsko-Biała, libero Mateusz Masłowski from Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, setter Michał Kędzierski from italian team Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora and opposite Karol Butryn from GKS Katowice.
The club extended with middle blockers Michał Ostrowski and Slovenian Alen Pajenk, opposite Michał Filip, Slovenian setter Dejan Vinčić and head coach Robert Prygiel.
They parted ways with the middle blocker Norbert Huber (PGE Skra Bełchatów), Russian opposite Maksim Zhigalov (Dinamo Moscow, Russia), outside hitters Jakub Rybicki (Lindemans Aalst, Belgium), Kamil Kwasowski (GKS Katowice), Wojciech Żaliński (Indykpol AZS Olsztyn) and Tomasz Fornal (Jastrzębski Węgiel) and libero Kacper Wasilewski (UKS Mickiewicz Kluczbork).
