Slovenia’s 14-players for Tokyo2020 qualifications announced

Slovenia national team will play in not easy Pool D in Gdańsk, Poland in the FIVB Volleyball International Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (August 9-11).
They will face one of the best teams in the world in the past few years France, 2-time consecutive world champions Poland and current African champions Tunisia.

The libero Urban Toman (injury) and 17-year-old outside hitter Rok Možič will not play in the team choosen by the head coach Alberto Giuliani. These are his 14 players:

Setters: Dejan Vinčić, Gregor Ropret
Opposites: Mitja Gasparini, Tonček Štern
Outside hitters: Tine Urnaut, Klemen Čebulj, Alen Šket, Žiga Štern
Middle blockers: Alen Pajenk, Jan Kozamernik, Matic Videčnik, Sašo Štalekar
Liberos: Jani Kovačič, Jan Klobučar
