Poland: Warszawa definitely leave financial trauma behind and takes its third 3 victory in as many matches

Project Warszawa have settled at the top of the 2019/20 Polish Volleyball Championship regular season standings after three rounds.
They definitely left the huge financial issues of last summer behind and recorded the third win in as many matches. The team from the Polish capital defeated league’s newcomers Ślepsk Malow Suwałki, who came to Warsaw with memories on a historical, first-ever victory, in the country’s top division that took place a few days ago against powerhouse Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
With 20 points, Bartosz Kwolek was the top scorer for the winners who barely fulfilled the necessary conditions to get the license to compete in the PlusLiga, which resulted in abandoning the name ONICO. And only six months ago, they played the play-off finals. The Frenchman Nicolas Szerszeń scored 17 points, while Norwegian Andreas Takvam made 5 winnin blocks on the other side.
On the other match played yesterday Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom defeat at tie break BKS Visła Bydgoszcz at home.
