Turkey: Galatasaray once again fatal to Fenerbahçe, underdogs İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi beat Arkas at tie break

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta remained an undefeated side in the 2019/20 Turkish Volleyball Championship regular season even after four rounds.
They are definitely “lethal” to Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta this season: after beating them in the Super Cup in a prelude of the 2019/20 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season, Galatasaray recorded one more victory against the same rivals and reached 4 out of 4. This time, they beat in straight setsFenerbahçe in Round 4 of the national championship, partially 25:20, 25:22, 25:21, and inflicted them a first defeat in the competition. By scoring 15 points, Estonian Oliver Venno was the top scorer for Galatasaray in what is considered the biggest sports derby in Turkey. The Dutchman Wouter ter Maat scored 18 points for the losing side.
İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü, who was winless prior to Round 4, made a huge upset by beating one of the title favorites Arkas Spor at tie break (25:17, 25:16, 18:25, 22:25, 17:15). Serhat Coşkun led the team from the Turkish capital with 26 points, while Emre Berat Fırat also contributed with 5 aces. Adis Lagumdžija scored 27 points for Arkas.
