Leaders and reigning champions SK Zadruga Aich / Dob is definitively at first place of the DenizBank AG Volley League. They defeated with a clear 3-0 the runners-up of Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel (25:19, 25:20, 25:18) to take a +7 advantage. The regular season will be completed on December 21.
Lukasz Szarek with 16 points and Lars Bornemann with 10 were the top scorer for the home team, while Peter Mlynarcik, who scored 18 points and Ivan Kolev with 13 were the top scorers for the winner in this match that also counted for the MEVZA League.
On the other matches played today, UVC Ried has almost finished fourth in the DenizBank AG VL regular season by defeating on their home court the direct rivals of Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt 3-0 (25:20, 30:28, 25:23), while UVC Holding Graz scored the expected victory in its penultimate match of the regular season.
