Tours completed Round 11 of the 2019/20 French Volleyball Championship regular season with another victory.
Slow start of the season, worst in the last more than 20 years, didn’t discourage the reigning champions who have recorded five victories in a row, including the one against vice-leaders prior to the Round 11 match – Montpellier. Actually, Tours took over their place in the standings and settled just behind the leaders Rennes with a 7-4 score and 22 points.
Latvian Hermans Egleskalns was the top scorer for Tours with 18 points while Canadian Ryan Sclater scored 21 points for Montpellier and Brazilian Nicolas dos Santos served 6 aces.
