Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle defeated Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom in Round 18 of the 2019/20 Polish Plusliga regular season.
The champions ZAKSA controlled the situation throughout the entire match and ultimately triumphed without losing a single set: 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:21). It was a very important duel for both teams: the hosts fought to come back to the top spot in the standings, while Czarni needed to take points to step into the play-off zone. Hungarian Árpád Baróti led ZAKSA with 14 points and was named MVP of the match. In fact, he collected with a 75% attack (12/16). Karol Butryn scored 19 points for the losing side.
Jastrzębski Węgiel achieved a hard-fought win against Ślepsk Malow Suwałki to firm themselves at the No.4 in the standings.
