Poland: Convincing victory for Warszawa, Zaksa and Jastrzebski in recovers’ games

VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa are staying on top of the standings in the 2019/20 Polish Plusliga regular season. The team from Poland’s capital defeated MKS Bedzin away in straight sets, partially 25:20, 29:27, 25:15. Artur Udrys was the top scorer with 16 points while the Frenchman Kevin Tillie also contributed with 12 points.
Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle have also scored a win in the 14th round, by beating Slepsk Malow Suwalki in straight sets 33:31, 25:18, 25:19, with some difficulties only in the opening set. Sliwka led Zaksa with 16 points, while Baroti added 14.
Dawid Konarski (21 points), Christian Fromm (18 points) and Tomasz Fornal (18 points) were the players who led Jastrzebski Wegiel to the victory over Cuprum Lubin away 3-1 (26:28, 25:18, 25:17, 25:11).
