Poland: Zanini new head coach of Resovia

Italian expert Emanuele Zanini will be new coach of Polish volleyball club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. The 54-year-old has signed the contract with the club until the end of the current season.
Zanini has led, among others, clubs in Italy, Slovakia, Austria, and France. Actually, he was an assistant to Andrea Anastasi in the Italy National Team before starting his career as a head coach. Zanini commanded men’s national teams of Slovakia (won the CEV European League in 2008 and 2011) and Turkey, while he currently works in Croatia Men.
In addition, he’s familiar with coaching in the Polish PlusLiga as he led Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie in the 2017/18 season.
He replaced Piotr Gruszka, who left Resovia earlier.
