Mariusz Wlazły decided to finish his perennial adventure in the Polish volleyball giants PGE Skra Bełchatów. The Polish club announced parting ways with Wlazły after 17 years! Although the 2019/20 PlusLiga season isn’t over yet, it’s already known that a living icon of Bełchatów won’t defend the colors of the club next season.
Wlazły spent almost the whole senior career in the Bełchatów team and achieved many successes. The opposite hitter and captain of Bełchatów revealed for the media in the country that the current season is his last at the club. After that, Bełchatów President Konrad Piechocki confirmed the information for the club website.

After coming to Bełchatów in 2003, Wlazły won nine Polish championship titles (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2018), seven Polish Cups (2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016), and four Polish Super Cups (2012, 2014, 2017, 2018). On one occasion in the CEV Champions League and on two occasions in the FIVB Club World Championship, Wlazły came to a step from winning the trophy.

Out of individual awards which he got while wearing the jersey of Skra, these stand out: MVP of the CEV Champions League once, MVP of the Polish League five times, MVP of the Polish Cup three times, and MVP of the Polish Super Cup once.
