Poland: four new case of coronavirus infection in Trefl Gdańsk

1 min read

Polish volleyball club Trefl Gdańsk confirmed that four more people, among players and staff members, was tested positive for coronavirus.
Recall that after one of the players received a positive result of the COVID-19 test last Friday, the entire team, the training staff, and the club’s employees and associates began isolation. However, the team received information about the second positive test result among players.
As in the case of the first infected player, due to the privacy protection, Trefl didn’t disclose the name of the second one either. Most players will be tested on Monday and Tuesday, but those athletes who didn’t feel well were tested before that.
Of course, the presence of the virus complicates both work and plans of the club: Trefl were forced to cancel the participation in the Summer Grand Prix, the beach volley tournament in which PlusLiga clubs participate and which recently started.
