#Euro2021 Qualifers: winning debut for Latvia and Spain
2 min read
On the first day of Pool D (the only one not postponed to January, both round robins will be played in Cyprus) victories as expected for Latvia and Spain.
Very promising start for these two teams in their opening matches in Nicosia for a ticket for European Championship co-hosted by Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland in the late summer of 2021. Latvia destroyed Moldova in straight sets, in a match lasted only 67 minutes, while Spain dropped only a set against the highly motivated hosts from Cyprus.
