Poland: Victory for Warszawa and Jastrzebski Wegiel

The last two games of Plusliga’s first weekend were played today (the match on 21 October between Asseco Resovia and Gdansk is missing to close the day). In the afternoon match Warsaw won 3-1 away vs. Bedzin. MVP is middle-blocker Piotr Nowakowski with 14 points, 65% in attack, 2 winning blocks and 1 ace. In the evening match long battle between Aluron Warta Zawiercie and Jastrzebski Wegiel. Eventually the guests in the 5th set win, led by the outside-hitter Fornal, named MVP of the match.
