Champions League: nothing to do for Dinamo without Sokolov – Trentino close to pool stage!

Itas Trentino made probably a decisive step towards the pool stage of the 2021 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
The players of Italian side rose their heads in a very difficult moment for the club. After suffering two consecutive defeats in the domestic league, they overcame Russiaโ€™s powerhouse Dinamo Moscow, undefeated in the national championship, on Day 2 of the 2021 Champions League qualifications.
In Pool H in Amriwsil, Switzerland, Trentino beat rivals with a clear 3-0: 25:18, 25:13, 25:16 ahead of the match against the home side of Lindaren Volley Amriswil in which they need to take at least one point to progress to the pool stage.
Dinamo couldnโ€™t do nothing today without Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov. The Dutchman Nimir Abdel-Aziz was the top scorer for the winners with 22 points, including 4 aces.
