Austria Cup: Ried claim the first ÖVV Cup semifinal ticket. Sokol defeated in straight sets!

UVC Weberzeile Ried is the first team who claim the ticket for semi-finals of the Austrian Volley Cup. They defeated on Sunday the current DenizBank AG VL leader TJ Sokol Vienna V in just 79 minutes 3-0, partially 25:15, 30:28, 25:20.
Only in the second set Sokol was able to earn some set balls, but the rivals were more determined in the crucial moments, including 15 winning blocks during the match (against 6 of the team from Austrian capital).
Tomasz Rutecki was the top scorer with 21 points, while Stefan Kamenica made 17 for Sokol.
Match stats: Attack points 39 to 41, attack rate 40 to 46 percent, block points 6 to 15, aces 2 to 3 and self-error 21 to 16.
