France: Paris fights, but surrenders in Tours after four sets
The last game of Round 9 of the French Ligue A has just ended, with only one postponement. Paris fights, but gives up against the defending champions of Tours after clearly losing the first set (25:16), but having made a great comeback the second from 21:15, only to lose 25:23. After a very hard-fought third set (23:25) until the end, and a fourth set in which Tours decided to close the game on the final (25:21), it is the hosts who conquer the whole loot, especially thanks to the 14 winning blocks overall, against only two of Paris.
El Graoui led in score the winners, with 17 points, while Udrys and Wounembaina also contributed with 16 and 14, respectively.
Truhtchev scored 17 points on the other side of the net.
With this victory, Tours is to -1 from the top of the standings with 15 points, together with Montpellier with the same number of points, while the former leader Tourcoing, after losing yesterday vs. Sete, remained at 14 points. At the top is Cannes, with 16 points.
