Italy: Bernardi at the helm of Piacenza also next season

Italian volleyball side Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza will keep Lorenzo Bernardi at the bench at the end of the next season.
These days, some rumors have been circulating of Bernardi’s engagement in the Russia National Team, but Piacenza decided to put an end to them and offered a new contract to their head coach. Thus the President of the SuperLega side, Elisabetta Curti, revealed it to the media in Italy:

“Bernardi will remain with us, only the signature is missing. We are talking about everything, we must agree to a few more aspects. However, I believe that the signature on the contract will arrive in the coming days. He isn’t only a coach who wants to win, he’ll be able to help us grow further as a club as well,” she said.
