France: Poitiers and Tours win advances of Round 23

1 min read

Two advances valid for the midweek Round 23 of French Ligue A were played today.
Playoffs much closer for Poitiers, who surprisingly won at the tie-break on the field of Narbonne (despite 15 winning blocks, against 4 of the winners). Petreas was deservedly awarded MVP of the match with 10 points and 91% in attack, while Neves Atu was the top scorer of the match with 24 points.
With this victory, Poitiers is now +5 from Paris who, in the other match (with 28 point errors!) was defeated 0-3 by Tours which thus interrupted a streak of 4 consecutive defeats.
