Slovenian Cup: Calcit Kamnik defeats Ljubljana in straight sets to win 4th trophy in competition

Despite the subdued performance of captain Gasparini (on the other hand the equal role Vucicevic is also subdued) Calcit Volley Kamnik are the winners of the Slovenian Volleyball Cup, Slovenian Pokal, for the 2020/21 season (which is added to those won in 2001, 2016 and 2017).
In the gold medal match in the Final Four in Črnuče, they defeated ACH Volley Ljubljana, who wasted a consistent advantage both in the first (13-8) and in the third set (14-10), by a 3-0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:22), and won their 4th cup in history of club. Jan Klobučar was the most prolific player in Calcit with 14 points today, while Diko Purič made 4 blocks.
Winning the trophy, the Kamnik team broke ACH Volley’s 3-year title streak in the competition and, a few days, ago the Ljubljana side was dethroned in the championship, too.
