EuroVolley2021 Qualifiers: all results of May 7

After Day 1, played yesterday with two matches of Pool E, #EuroVolleyM Qualifiers is continued today with matches played in as many as four countries spread across Europe.
In Pool A that consists of only three teams played the first-leg in Zadar, Croatia, The Netherlands, who play without Nimir Abdel Aziz, defeats a tough battle the hosts in four sets, partially 30:32, 25:19, 23:25, 18:25.
In Pool E in Slovakia, the hosts claim their second victory by beating Romania in four sets, while Switzerland defeats Albania in straight sets.
In Tbilisi (GEO) where the tournament of the Pool F is played, Montenegro proved too strong for Azerbaijan by beating them in four sets, while Greece upset the hosts Georgia defeating them in straight sets.
The Pool G in Hungary started with the duel between Belarus and Portugal that turned out into amazing battle.
Belarus put a lot of pressure on their opponent serving as many as 12 aces, but Portugal was not giving up even if all the time they were one step behind their rival. Despite some difficulties they managed to stay in the game, winning at the tie-break.
Portugal’s Alexandre Ferreira and Hugo Lucas Gaspar, who was named the MVP of the match, were the top scorers with 21 points each, while Radzivon Miskevich was the best scorer of Belarus with 19 points. In the second match of the same Pool, the hosts Hungary claimed important an opening win over Norway, beating the rivals in four sets.
