Poland: Another player moves from ZAKSA to Resovia
1 min readPaweł Zatorski will defend the colors of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in the next three seasons.
One of the best liberos in the world, he strengthened the seven-time Polish volleyball club champions, becoming the second player who moved to this club from the country’s rivals and the reigning European club champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
He is one the most successful Polish players at the moment, and his club achievements include victory in the CEV Champions League, five Polish Championship titles and Cups, three Polish Super Cups, and also success with the national team – two gold medals at the FIVB World Championship (2014 and 2018) and one at the FIVB World League (2012).
Individually, as a part of the Poland Nationa Team, he was awarded Best Libero at the 2015 FIVB World League and 2018 FIVB World Championship.
The 31-year-old player competed in PlusLiga for 13 seasons during which he was named Best Defender of the Polish Cup four times.
