Croatia starts preparation for EuroVolley 20211 min read
The Croatian volleyball team has begun preparation for the European Championships, which begin on September 1st.
They will play in Group D in Tallinn with hosts Estonia, France, Latvia, Germany and Slovakia.
Coach Emanuela Zanini gathered 16 players in Osijek, and there are no big changes compared to the team that won the European Championship through qualifications, in Croatia and the Netherlands, except that the list includes young opposite Gabriel Cvanciger, and no experienced middle blocker Ivan Mihalja.
In addition to the preparations in Osijek, friendly training matches against the national teams of Slovenia, Bulgaria and Turkey are also planned.
