Poland: ZAKSA prevail over Warszawa in big match to stay undefeated, first win of Czarni Radom, Resovia ok

The vice-champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle defeated bronze medalists Projekt Warszawa in the fourth round of the 2021/22 Polish PlusLiga.
In the big match valid for Round 4 between the two undefeated sides so far, ZAKSA beat the rivals 3-2 (25:27, 25:18, 14:25, 25:18, 15:9), to boast a full set of four wins!
Before the first referee’s whistle, only one point separated the two rivals in the charts, but ZAKSA’s determination allowed to turn the match around after 1-2 in sets.
Interestingly, the last win of the team from polish capital in head-to-head encounters with ZAKSA was two years ago!
Łukasz Kaczmarek top-scored the European club champions with 25 points and was named MVP of the match, while his teammate Kamil Semeniuk also contributed with 24, and both made four blocks.

Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom earned their first victory and first points on the account of the season as they beat Trefl Gdańsk, which also didn’t start well in 2021/22 Plusliga, in four sets.
Rafał Faryna put down 18 points on the winning side, while Mateusz Masłowski had 72% reception (18 digs, 39% perfect). But real protagonist of the match was the outside-hitter Rusin (MVP of the match with 16 points, 52% in attack and 34% efficiency), fielded for the first time in sextet in place of the Brazilian Ademar.

In the evening 3 points for Resovia who wins 3-1 on the field of Stal Nysa with Cebulj top scorer (22 points, 68% in attack and 61% efficiency) and MVP of the match. However, Muzaj does not convince (40% in attack and 16% efficiency).
