Champions League: Karlovarsko defeat Benfica and are one step closer to group stage

ČEZ Karlovarsko from Czech Republic successfully started the final fight for promotion to the 2022 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
On the road, they defeated the champions of Portugal Sport Lisboa e Benfica in a very balanced match of the 3rd and last Round of qualifications, bringing home to the rematch a lead of one set.
Remain halfway the comeback of the hosts, coming back from 0-2 and from 9-12 to 12-12 in tie break, but eventually is Karlovarsko to make decisive three-points-streak and the to close the match with an ace by Zajicek.
The duel in Karlovy Vary is scheduled on November 10 and will decide on the team advancing to the elite continental club competition.
The man of the match was the Karlovarsko opposite Patrik Indra, who scored 24 points.
Moreover, the winners scored as many as 18 points with the block.
