Mevza League: Calcit Kamnik – Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel 3:0

Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel had to admit a defeat in the Mevza League Main Round on the field of Slovenia’s OK Calcit Kamnik in three very balanced sets (23:25, 22:25, 23:25) on Tuesday evening. For the Austrian side, sixth in the charts, this was the fourth defeat in the seventh game of the competition. Top scorers today were Mitja Gasparini (19) and Jan Klobucar (14) for Kamnik, and Marek Sulc (10), Daulton Sinoski and Audrius Knasas (9 each) for Waldviertel.

Union Waldviertel will play in Mevza League again on Friday, at home against SK Zadruga Aich / Dob (3rd). It is the third duel of the two teams this season while, on Saturday evening UVC Holding Graz (8th) will face Mladost Zagreb (5th).
