Austria: Sokol and Klagenfurt start second part of this season on the right foot

TJ Sokol V Post SV Wien started the second part of the Austrian Volley League with a sovereign home win by beating newcomers Hypo Tirol volleyball team in straight sets (25:14, 25: 17, 25:23).
Top scorers were Christian Käfer and Daniel Morgunov among the winners with 11 points each, and Finn Örley (13) and Mohamed Abu Hobi (11) for the Innsbruck side.
Since the points were taken from the basic round, the team from country’s capital now holds 23 points and is clearly on the right path for the playoff.

In the second Saturday game, VBK WĂśrther-See-LĂśwen Klagenfurt celebrated a 3-1 (25:23, 28:26, 23: 25, 25:17) win on the field of TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg. The third-placed extended their lead over the rivs to four points.
The top 3 of the intermediate round will take a quarter-final ticket that worth a place in top round with UVC Holding Graz, SK Zadruga Aich/Dob, Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel, VCA Amstetten NÖ and UVC Weberzeile Ried.
The championship will continue at the beginning of January.
