Mevza League: OK MERKUR Maribor defeats HAOK Mladost Zagreb in four sets

Only one of two matches scheduled for Mevza League Main Round were played on Wednesday.
OK MERKUR Maribor secured three points against HAOK Mladost Zagreb. Sloveniaā€™s reigning national champions needed 103 minutes to emerge victorious with 3-1 (25:20, 25:20, 22:25, 25:23) on their home court. As a result, second-placed side increased their points to 30 from twelve matches they have contested so far. HAOK Mladost Zagreb, on the other hand, remain third in the current standing.
Thus, the Croatian team is still in the race for a spot in Bleiburg’s Final Four.

The match between VKP Bratislava (SVK) and UVC Holding Graz (AUT) has been postponed due a COVID-19 outbreak.
