Antalya, May 5 – Champions League Super Finals in Türkiye!

2 min read

CEV officially announced the venue of 2024 CEV Champions League Volley Super Finals!
The event that will crown the queens and kings of European Volleyball will be taking place on May 5 in Türkiye, more precisely at the Antalya Sports Hall, which has a capacity of 10,000 seats.
The women’s final will be an Italian derby between 2021 winners A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano and their compatriots Allianz Vero Volley Monza while, in the men’s grand finale, Trentino Itas from Italy will fight for their fourth Champions League title – and their first such triumph since 2011 – against last year’s runners-up Jastrzebski Węgiel from Poland.

We are very excited to join forces with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, especially since we still have fond memories of the record-breaking and revolutionary organisation of the game changing CEV EuroVolley 2019 Women. We are confident that delivering such an event in Türkiye will help us elevate the profile of European Volleyball even further and make sure the Super Finals will be an unforgettable experience for all involved on site as well as for those following from afar,” said CEV President Aleksandar Boričić

The event in Antalya will be the fifth edition of the Super Finals since their introduction in 2019 (and it was cancelled in 2020 following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic).
Antalya, which has already hosted stages of the elite FIVB Volleyball Nations League as well as the 2022 edition of the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, follows in the footsteps of Berlin, Verona, Ljubljana, and Turin.

Hosting such an event is a reason for great excitement and a big honour for us. I am sure that thousands of supporters will join us for a memorable day. I wish the very best of success and luck to all teams with the hope that all participants will leave our country with good memories once they return home. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to the European Volleyball Confederation and their President Aleksandar Boričić for entrusting Türkiye with the organisation of this important event,” said Mehmet Akif Üstündag, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation.
