CEV Cup: PGE Skra Bełchatów first semifinalist
1 min read
PGE Skra Bełchatów have completed the task and advanced to the semi-finals of the 2022 CEV Volleyball Cup.
Polish side is the first team that secured a place in the Top-4 of the competition, and Romania’s CSM Arcada Galați was a hard rival for the PlusLiga giants.
The players from Bełchatów failed to close the first leg before the tie-break, although they were better in the first 2 sets.
The 3-2 win didn’t guarantee Skra an easy qualification, however, they played slightly better in the rematch on the road and took a deservedly 3-1 victory.
The Dutch-Italian Dick Kooy top-scored Skra with 18 points, including 4 aces.
