2 min read

Cev Cup quarterfinals started on Tuesday.
In first match PGE Skra Belchatow, led by Kooy (23 points, 71% in attack and 57% efficiency) and Atanasijevic (22 points, 45% in attack and 24% efficiency), risked a resounding home defeat against Romania’s Arcada Galati by winning only at tie break despite the 2-0 lead. Great performance of young Romanian second opposite Alexandru Rata (22 points, 52% and 38% efficiency in attack, 3 blocks and 4 aces), who played instead of Raic after first set.

Due several COVID-19 cases in Kuzbass Kemerovo, Russian derby has been postponed until next week, and Zenit Kazan will host both matches, now scheduled 9 and 10 February.
