Austria: Klagenfurt continues the winning streak by beating also Hypo Tirol VT

VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt celebrated a 2-3 (22:25, 16:25, 25:22, 25:23, 8:15) victory on the field of newcomers Hypo Tirol in their last game in the Austrian Volley League Zwischenrunde, the intermediate round, on Sunday afternoon.
It was the sixth win in a row for the current second-placed side.
Top scorers of the day were Andreas Fröhlich (25), Leander Örley (16) and Simon Miller (9) for the hosts and Arwin Kopschar (28), Simon Frühbauer and Ben Stockhammer (12 each) for the winners.

The intermediate round will end with two games next Friday, but there can no longer any relevant changes in the currend charts. TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien has long been in first place, VBC TLC Weiz, who secured the last quarter-final ticket, is in third place behind Klagenfurt, while TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg and Hypo Tirol VT will fight for avoid relegation.

Since there are still eight games to be played in the top round, no quarter-final pairings have been set yet.
