Austria: straight sets win for Waldviertel and Aich/Dob in Top Round

Top Round leaders Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel and SK Zadruga Aich/Dob fully lived up to their role as favorites in the Wednesday games of the Austrian Volley League, both scoring straight sets victories.
Waldviertel defeat UVC Weberzeile Ried on the road by 0-3 (19:25, 17:25, 22:25). However, the hosts played with just seven players due to corona cases and the injuries of Tomek Rutecki and Joachim Hackl.

Aich/Dob easily won 3-0 (25:17, 25:17,25:20) against VCA Amstetten NÖ in their JUFA Arena in Bleiburg.
As a result, leaders Waldviertel are three points ahead of the Carinthians, who have played one game less.
The hosts were absolutely better in blocking, with 14 points from this element in just three sets (!!!) and in attack, with an excellent 71% of team performance.
On Thursday, Aich/Dob will meet Amstetten again in Bleiburg.
