Italy: Trento defeats Padova in recovery of Round 17

In recovery match of Round 17 or,
if you prefer, Round 4 of second leg, Itas Trentino (without Poadrascanin and Lavia) won in four sets on the field of Kioene Padova – 1-3 (25:27, 16:25, 25:20, 21:25).
The hosts, who went from eight place in the standings to penultimate, played another prohibitive match on the field of leaders Perugia just two days ago, and now are fighting to avoid relegation in a very hard battle: Padova and Verona 21 points, Vibo Valentia 22 and Cisterna 22, and Taranto 23.
About the match itself, numbers are not so different between the two rivals: Padova better in reception (44 vs. 40% the perfect one), while the guests were better in attack with 50% (Padova 47%)and in blocking (8 vs. 6, with 3 each for Michieletto and Bottolo, respectively). In serving, 17 errors and 6 aces for the winners while Padova, on the other hand, made 20 errors but scored 13 aces (4 from Loeppky, Bottolo and Weber, and one by Zimmermann).
Top scorers Weber (Padova) and Kaziyski (Trento), with 17 points apiece, and 50% and 52% in attack respectively, while a very good Crosato in only one set scored 5 points and 83% in attack for the hosts.
