Italy: Lube defeat Verona in recovery of Round 14. Injury for Mozic.

In only Superlega’s match played today and valid for Round 17 or, in you prefer, Round 4 of second leg, Cucine Lube Civitanova win in four sets on the field of Verona Volley (14:25, 25:23, 20:25, 18:25).
A match with a double face, and probably conditioned by injury of Rok Mozic on 17-13 of the second set (sprained ankle), absolut protagonist for the hosts up until that point. Verona win the set, but then suffered the superiority of the rivals, avoce all from the service line, but also in blocking, defense and counterattack.
And, with this result, the fight against the drop is still all to play between Verona itself, with 24 points in the current charts and the same number of Cisterna, Taranto (23), Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia (22) and Kioene Padova (21), with the latter who will face each other tomorrow in a direct clash on Padova’s soil.
About the winners, with Ivan Zaytsev back in great shape (26 points and 5 aces) and good reception of Brazilian Ricardo Lucarelli (72%; 18 digs, 1 error, 28% perfect), they strengthened their 2nd position behind Sir Safety Conad Perugia.
