Game 5 of Ligue A quarterfinals were played today.

After accident of Game 3, and subsequently forfeit in Game 4, the game between No.4 Narbonne and No.5 Sète has been played behind closed doors, with a great victory of the hosts after a thrillig tie break (21:25, 25:23, 25:23, 23:25, 15:12), led by Brazilian opposite Rafael Araujo, who ended the match with 31 points (53% in attack, 34% efficiency, 1 ace and 2 blocks).
On the other side of the net, despite a great performance from the service line with 6 aces, Moritz
Karlitzek has disappointed in attack with 21 points but with 39% and only 11% efficiency.

Home advantage respected also in other match with Chaumont who, after a slow start against Tourcoing, who start with a 4-8 lead, defeat the rivals without major problems without losing a single set (25:20, 25:18, 25:20). Man of the match Cuban opposite Herrera, author of 18 points, 75% in attack, 55% efficiency, 2 aces and 1 block. MVP award, however, to Belgian libero of Tourcoing Julien Lemay, who played last game of his career.
