France: Round 6 of Playdown – three points for Cannes and Toulouse. Cambrai – Nantes 3-2

Round 6 of Ligue A Playdowns has been played today. The news of the day? Salvation reached for Nantes and Plessis Robinson, while Cannes, with 4 more matches to be played, is now at -9.
Cannes, in fact, today is back to the victory with a home 3-1 (25:21, 26:28, 25:21, 25:22) over Plessis Robinson (safe…to the top of the current charts with 20 points, together with Nantes). Despite second setter Aleksa Batak on the field in place of starter Danilo Gelinski, Cannes earned three very very very important points led by Ronald Jimenez, absolute top scorer of the match with 26 points (2 aces, 1 block and 61% in attack, and MVP Filip Cveticanin, who ended the match with 13 points and 6 winning blocks!
On the other matches, Cambrai wasted a 2-0 lead, suffered the comeback of Nantes, and then they managed to win the game at tie break (25:19, 25:11, 19:25, 17:25, 15:13) while Toulouse, with an impressive performance in attack (63%!) defeat Poitiers with a clear 3-0 (25:19, 25:20, 25:21).
