1 min read
With 13 points and 52% in attack of MVP Derouillon, and 11 of a Tillie back to high level with 69% in attack after the flop in Game 2, regular season absolute leaders Tours trampled over Narbonne in decisive Game 3 of Ligue A semifinal, reaching Montpellier in Grand Finale of the competition.
Narbonne, below expectations with only Rafael Araujo in double digit (10 points but only 39% in attack) and only 34% of team attack, played basically only in second set, when they had a 7-10 lead, and even 21-22. However, a point from Palonsky, an error from Bouguerra and Palonski again marked the decisive break, 24-22, and Derouillon close 25-23.
In any case, for Narbonne this was a great season, with the CEV Challenge Cup won at their first European appearance.
