Poland Jastrzębski reach 10-0! Three points also for Lubin and Warszawa

Round 10 of the 2022/23 Polish Plusliga ended today with last three games.

Open the day Projekt Warszawa’s win on the road against Indykpol AZS Olsztyn. The game ended in straight sets (24:26, 19:25, 20:25), and Frenchman Kevin Tillie was named MVP of the game with 15 points and 63% in attack.
Away win also for Cuprum Lubin, who won on the field of Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom with the same result (17:25, 20:25, 21:25), led by Austrian Alexander Berger, top scorer of the match with 15 points through 70% in attack and 60% efficiency, as well as MVP award.

Jastrzębski Węgiel didn’t give the newcomers too many chances.
In the match ending this round they defeated Barkom-Każany Lwów 3-0 (25:14, 30:28, 25:20).
The team from Ukraine, after a weak first set, had a chance to win in the second set, but they failed to take advantage of it, as they had 22-19 and even a set point.
Jastrzębski’s head coach Marcelo Méndez took this match to give the chance to some players who were backups since the beginning of the season, leaving Boyer, Gladyr, and Clévenot on the bench.
Tomasz Fornal top-scored for the vice champions with 17 points, including 4 blocks, while Vasyl Tupchii put down 13 for Barkom and Vladyslav Shchurov made 4 blocks.

With a full set of points, a 10-0 balance, 30 points, and only three sets dropped, Jastrzębski strengthened their position as leaders in the standing.
