Poland: Gdańsk and Katowice win advances of Round 11. A majestic Aluron down also Resovia!

Midweek Round 11 of 2022/23 Plusliga started today with first three games.
In the afternoon, Trefl Gdańsk defeat at home newcomers and last-placed BBTS Bielsko-Biała 3-0 (25:17, 25:22, 25:22) without problems with 20 points and 55% in attack by MVP Bartłomiej Bołądź.
The day continued with a half comeback of PSG Stal Nysa who, with a 0-2 disadvantage against GKS Katowice, managed to level the score althoug a final defeat 2-3 (21:25, 24:26, 25:17, 25:22, 12:15). Jakub Jarosz was named MVP of the match with 20 points and 57% in attack, while Wassim Ben Tara tallied 25 on the losing side.
Close the picture another great performance of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie who, in the evening, won the direct clash for second place on the field of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. They did it, winning the game 1-3 (21:25, 32:30, 19:25, 22:25) to celebrate their 8th win in a row counting all competition and to level the score in the current standings with Resovia, 26 points.
Uros Kovacevic (top scorer of the match with 23 points through 51% in attack), Bartosz Kwolek (named MVP of the game with 20 points and 55% in attack) and Dawid Konarski (18 points and 52% in attack) were decisive in this great victory, while Jakub Bucki scored 19 on the losing side.
Round 11 will continue between Wednesday and Thursday.
