Poland: ZAKSA needed five sets to defeat Radom. 8 win in a row for Aluron in Plusliga

Waiting for last game of 2022/23 Plusliga Round 13 scheduled tomorrow, on Monday, other two games were played today.

Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom, second-to-last on the current charts, almost staged an upset after taking a 1-2 lead on the field of super favorite Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. However the hosts were able to recover and close the game at tie break, partially 22:25, 25:19, 23:25, 25:21 and 15:11.
Poland National Team member Łukasz Kaczmarek ended the game as top scorer with 25 points on the winning side with 54% in attack and 46% efficiency, while Adrian Staszewski also contributed with 21 and setter Marcin Janusz was named MVP of the game. Damian Schulz scored 25 points too on the losing side.

On the second game of the day, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie won in straight sets in Ukraine, on the field of Barkom Każany Lwów, partially 20:25, 20:25 and 23:25 to celebrate their 8 win in a row in Plusliga (and after a stop in Champions League against Berlin). Dawid Konarski ended the game as top scorer with 17 points and 53% among the winners.
