Poland: Jastrzębski remain without starting middle blocker until the end of season

The current leaders of the 2022/23 Polish Plusliga, Jastrzębski Węgiel, will be weakened for the rest of the season.
In the first set of the match of the 14th round against Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom played on December 6, the Jastrzębski starting middle blocker Łukasz Wiśniewski, suffered a serious injury and had to leave the field.
He jumped up with Jan Hadrava for a double block. When landing, both players collided with their knees, which resulted in Wiśniewski falling to the floor. He left the court and could no longer return to the game.
Subsequent examinations and magnetic resonance imaging confirmed a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament and also damage to the meniscus.
Unfortunately, this means that he won’t play this season anymore.
The former Poland National Team member will undergo surgery, followed by a longer rehabilitation.
Good luck 🍀💪🏼
