Challenge Cup: Olympiacos first quarterfinalist!

Second legs of 2022/23 CEV Challenge Cup 1/8 Finals started today with first verdict.
After a first leg victory in straight sets, Greece’s Olympiacos Piraeus did homework in Bulgaria, on the field of Deya Volley Burgas taking first two sets to celebrated their qualification to next stage of the competition, quarterfinals. And then, the match ended after an exciting tie break, 3-2 (27:29, 23:25, 25:18, 30:28, 18:16) lasted 136 minutes, in favor of the hosts, who recorded an impressive performance in blocking, with 22 points from this element (against 11 of Olympiacos), 10 from Stefano Patriarca (interestingly, Italian middle blocker ended the game with 15 points, 1 ace and only 31% in attack!). Todor Valchev was the absolute top scorer of the match with 28 points and 60% in attack.
For qualified Olympiacos, all players entered the field.
