Poland: 3 points for leaders Resovia after a hard-fought battle in Olsztyn in advance of Round 24

Round 24 of 2022/23 Plusliga started today with a great battle played in Olsztyn between the hosts (who boasted four victories in a row prior to this game) and competition’s leaders, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
Resovia easily take first two sets, but then the rivals react, winning the third and, eventually, surrendering only 32:34 in fourth sets. Partially it was 14:25, 22:25, 25:22 and 32:34.
Torey De Falco ended the game as absolute top scorer with 25 points including 1 ace and 3 winning blocks, through 60% in attack, but the winners played also a great performance in blocking, scoring 3 points from this element against the 8 of Olsztyn.
