1 min read
Predictions respected in both matches of 2022/22 MEVZA League semifinals played this evening, and, as predicted, it will be an all-slovenian final!
Undefeated Main Round leaders ACH Volley Ljubljana needed just three sets to defeat fellow countrymen OK Merkur Maribor, partially 25:22, 25:12 and 25:16. Coach Gačič gave space to all his players, and only Filip Šestan ended the game in double digit scoring 10 points!
In second game Calcit Kamnik needed two sets to progress to the final and, although a 1-2 deficit against Austria’s SK Zadruga Aich/Dob, eventually they recover, even winning the game 3-2 (25:21, 21:25, 18:25, 25:21, 15:10), with 12 winning blocks (7 by Daniel Aponza), and 17 points by top scorer Nik Mujanovič.
